Are Labour a case of we really mean it this time as they throw ideas that contradict their last Govt? i.e. smaller banks from the Party that insisted Lloyds destroy itself by buying criminal organisation HBOS? Seriously were Brown’s gimps [Ed n Ed] unaware when this was happening?

Regardless now Miliband is the Chief Lab Rat. King Rat will in my opinion enact much of what he says. However its actions like the 45 minute claim will be specious and not what most people will assume he means. Indeed it shows Labour’s real progress that all they can do is trumpet the minimum wage which we now are reminded was 15 years ago and the reasons Vince Cable was not able to vote for it – stroke of a pen legislation.

A raft of regional development agencies with no admission how ineffective and corrupt these have been in the past. There is the nub of my view of Labour until they admit their past ineffectiveness and mistakes properly, not least to themselves, then anything they say can surely be discounted as bore [sic] of the same.

Labour’s last Govt handed Bns to A4E, AtoS [ers], BAE, Financiers, Banks, Accenture, Capita, Foreign Arms Buyers, BP, Serco, PFI funders and lots of others memory fails me. This is not business friendly and it’s certainly not friendly to those suffering bedroom taxes and reduced care to pay for it.

Labour should commit to remove the corruption and graft it built into the system. It isn’t and won’t.

It’s not what he would have chosen and nor would anyone but the most depraved say that Miliband wanted the frankly child like attack on his father from the paper that backed fascism and did not want Jews to come to the UK. I am not inferring that in any way. Indeed that it fell in the Tory party conference when they planned to showcase Theresa May’s small minded bigotry is a happy accident and shows the Mail has no thought to the timing of its bigoted ignorance. Ask a Man United fan why they support the team and they will cite many true things about United. United fans may have a point but those who support political parties don’t. Football fandom may have more differences than the current Punch and Punch show in the Commons. Continue reading »

10p tax rate came back like Jason for Jason III. The first time it was created and the 2nd time it was killed and the 3rd time it hopes to be reformed. Yes it’s breathtaking that something so stupid as yet another tax band would be a flagship policy. It more shows that the Labour Party is self referential rather than anything else. I doubt this strikes a chord with anyone outside a few Labour Left creeps.

Miliband is after all the man who made his maiden speech about Asylum and how great it was. He was also Brown’s chief droog with Balls and appointed Woolas, tried to intern people, demonised Asylum seekers and locked up Children not as an unavoidable part of policy but as an aim of policy. The point is Miliband does not see his own hypocrisy and corruption. He’s an idea less pin cushion chasing votes he should get merely by not being creepy or a Tory – albeit in reality he is creepy and by any definition a Tory.

The Labour brand of salt is still salt, Lo Salt maybe. Still reactionary. Still has no answers. Still has not weeded out its corrupt former leaders of the PFI fraud, Human Rights abuses and War. Still has no plans just a string of headline grabbing policies, they hope.

Raising thresholds and reducing VAT would be a better and simpler idea.
