Neo Liberal on the Conservative wing
Great job: Syriza’s Tsipras has destroyed >€50bn market capitalization of #Greece’s stock mkt in his first 2days.

Me
@Someone Him personally. Greek voters nowt to do with it. Why do neo Libs personalise everything?

The point here is a) he changed his tweet to 5Bn although since neo Liberals generally go with what number suits them neither figure that important b) er what he personally trashed bank shares? Surely they should have collapsed as election went entirely with the polls? Also he is essentially decrying bank shares dropping as they may lose their state backing. This guy wrote a book on the evils of the state but of course the role of the state is to nationalise debt. The neo Liberals, sorry Labour fans, do not care for sick people or to educate the poor other countries can do that on their own tab so we can exploit it whilst reducing the poor to scavengers on the anvil of Austerity.

I read a lot of Labour fans tweet Cameron has done this or that and even the NHA party. I tend to only aim at them when they make personal statements like un-encrypting the internet or the latest fascistic quote from Theresa May. As much to show that the spokespeople for Corporates/Oil/Banks are just that and have no idea what they are talking about. Even the increasingly ridiculous and vicious POTUS I try to use Obama Administration except when referring to something their chief spokesperson said himself. It’s one thing to attack their ridiculous statements but more of what they do is a collective and done by Govt apparatus that will be there when they’re gone. To attack a leader because idiots still held Greek Bank Shares expecting infinite state aid and no risk is bananas but typical.

I don’t know why the media climate is so personalised and febrile I suspect it’s an ad hom’ thing that it is easier to attack people than ideas. That when your ideas are bankrupt and cannot work you aim your ire at your opponent to pretend your position is more moral – no don’t ask me why but the neo Libs love being sententious. It’s much easier to hate people on the other side when you agree on so much as Cameron and Miliband and Blair and Brown so clearly do.  For instance the child like attacks on Alex Salmond for putting a case for Scottish independence as neo Libs fell over themselves to cry about this as a personal slight.

I guess to demonise an enemy doing something as even right wing economics judges would agree needs doing in Greece is the only desperate resort of neo Lib fans. Indeed many who obstensibly agree try to predict SYRIZA losing popularity which appears the main problem according to the neo Libs. It [neo Liberalism] is a lunatic cult that cannot control its emotions it seems.

Is its success due to it plying the human weakness to feel superior? All opponents dismissed with a line of purest zero meaning rhetoric.

Next week I’ll define what I call a neo Liberal.

Policy in the UK is now formed by trying to say something to appeal to voters primed by the Establishment media. This is as true of the so called Opposition as the so called Coalition Govt. Essentially policy is played by appealing to reactionary elements like myself in marginal constituencies unlike myself.

Thus the Conservative Home Secretary and Prime Minister proposed 2 of the window lickingist stupid policies ever – ever is meant literally there. Making Blair’s drag people to a cash machine and fine them on the spot look like the ‘Rope A Dope’ of political ideas. The first was a suggestion that to correct purely a silly target for net migration we should drive foreign recently graduated people to the airport and kick them out by Theresa May – an idea of such deep idiocy even George Osborne had to rule it out. This was then topped by David Cameron’s suggestion we ban encryption that the security services cannot break.

It’s frightening that MI5 asked for that. Computer Science is a plus in the UK and this would have been another really stupid policy that destroyed business who could no longer protect themselves and would have to go offshore. Do MI5 so little understand computing they would ask for that? That is probably why these frozen pole lickers want ever expanding databases as they have no practical ideas to combat people who would do harm?

It does leave you wondering if the UK can survive with a governing class drawn from people who demonstrated extreme conformism when entering Oxford and Cambridge at 18. Not to mention how much power MI5 has got by allowing paedophiles to serve in the Govt.

On the one hand we have vile murderers who die for a cause so base and ridiculous at the same time it defies sane analysis. On the other the lives of a bit more than a dozen westerners are placed above the continuing butchery the Islamic nuts perpetrate in the Middle East many in their own country among their neighbours.

UK/US seek to censor and create a surveillance state of good manners yet will not ring up the Saudis and tell them to stop distributing and  funding the ‘intellectual’ underpinning of this nihilistic Terrorism. Indeed the UK Govt is likely to ring up the sponsors of the Paris massacre and try to sell them arms. 2 years ago he, accepted only taking orders from his organ grinder in Washington, UK Govt begged Parliament to bomb Assad in support of his enemies which turned out to be Islamic State and al Queada – the US did claim to bomb a group that did not exist “The Khorasan Group” one assumes to obfuscate this fact. Indeed Israel to no odium bombed the Assad regime the other week to show that all this posturing and pretense that we think these groups the worst of the worst is poppycock.

One can argue the West stoked conflict in Syria and is prolonging it at the expense of 10,000s of lives with no improvement in liberty and freedom likely whichever side won – see Libya. What is the moral difference then between our leaders and the rancid scum who shoot cartoonists? That they do their killing in person not with indiscriminate drone attacks? No, as their attacks are not based on anything either and are purposefully done to no end bar fear and publicity. When you kill people over cartoons and their religion you’re no better than the Obama Administration killing someone because his meta data crops up in the wrong place.

I’d support action to tackle these terrorists wholeheartedly and am left to wonder why the UK/US seems intent on fighting people who want to cut fossil fuel usage instead.

In true Tesco accounts style by adding every little piece of crap and allowing for illegal industries GDP is being pumped or because it measures consumption and asset inflation or whatever the UK Economy is growing at 3% a year. The EU with many countries contracting says it wants 1.7 Bn more and Cameron is all a tizzy. A Tory party who had ramped up the rhetoric on Europe hoping for a few concessions just got raised all in and is holding a 7 2 off suit a massive housing bubble and debt with a balance of payments shocker kicker. Plus Cam probably thinks it will be someone else’s problem in May.

Now I would want a lower EU budget. It’s a essentially a Common Market predominantly not a pan National Govt. However the likes of Cameron can hardly complain as they back the insane US policies that have transferred the Ukrainian begging bowl from Russia to Europe. Likes Ireland and Ukraine might well cost the UK more than this additional fee not to mention the need to pointlessly bomb the ISIS scum with obsolete aircraft. Business and bank subsidies are circa 120Bn before considering the 40 Bn contributions to private pensions going nowhere or the 8 or 9Bn a year for RBS.

At the end of the day arguments about leaving the EU but staying in the Common Market make most sense to me whilst most countries share a currency we don’t. However the level of debate is as deep as paddling pool. I doubt many realise there are 3 levels of this Out, Common Market and EU.

It takes a peculiar form of nihilism to think any god wants to spend time around someone who just cut a defenseless man’s head off.

I takes an even more vapid form of nihilism to stand up like Cameron and say we will do everything to revenge this when you know you’ve sent a squad of obsolete Tornado aircraft that were to be scrapped. Tornado ‘craft that can fire 2 missiles at likely only fuzzily be identified if that. Worse to fight an enemy we supported in our proxy war with Russia. The inanity and ego of the US administration is staggering but the UK has been right with it.

Two days 2 schools in Syria were attacked by what one I assume is meant to call Islamic Moderates to separate them from IS. The people the vile Obama Administration wants to give half a Billion to and is supporting by bombing IS.

Alan Henning was a truly inspired human being those who killed him and once supported his killers and now issue platitudes not so.

Labour MPs and others were claiming they were not making the same mistake at 2003 in supporting bombing designed to boost Islamic State’s standing, sorry.. stopping IS from ummh doing something being a threat to the region somehow bombing London or was it Paris or New York or whatever they’re evil, fuck it move on.

This was Fuck Yeah not Shock and Awe. This is Cameron showing despite being an Etonian and an Oxbridge 1st he can just say ‘what the fuck’. Strategy schmategy, tactics what the fuck are they, you wants goals you can’t handle goals. Think Bush and Blair were a couple of clowns we’re funnier and better dressed. Ed Miliband talked of helping a democracy after their unelected President, self appointed after a quiet coup, asked for help. Ed’s in with equals with Cameron and Obama.

Yet 2003 was planned. Sure Rumsfeld threw the post invasion plan in the bin. However unlike here where the people involved are doing it to placate the weapons industry and help the Democratic party in the mid terms. Yet there is no aim here other than the most nebulous. Bush and co for reasons that may seem laughable in reality wanted to build a stable Arab democracy and control a shit load of oil. The Obama Administration and Cameron Govt are doing this because? Find one regional expert who expects bombs to achieve Bo Diddley. They talk of a 3 year war but there is no plan. It’s a case of bomb and play it by ear no strategy no goal no endgame no thought.

Make no mistake if Bush was stupid Obama, Miliband and Cameron are dumber and clearly so. If he was nefarious then they are more nefarious and clearly so.

It’s really lucky that the UK Parliament has Rory Stewart as Head of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee to point out bombing Islamic State is a complete waste of time and resources. He can tell Cameron and Cameron can tell that nice chap Obama and job done. After all Cam’ and O’ laughing and joking and being good fellas to down a few with and can leave serious stuff like thinking to the likes of Stewart. Also Cammy and Oey could just ring our allies Qatar, Saudi and Turkey and tell them to stop fucking helping Islamic State if it actually mattered to them. It really is that simple.

Of course who can blame the Obama Administration the Democratic Party might lose Senate seats and State Houses if it challenged the moronic wisdom of the narrative it has created to drone people for no reason. They can hardly say look we’ve been lying for 6 years and actually the truth is we killed lots of people because of PR.

Then again O’ could just flippantly say “We murdered some Folks”.

David Cameron showed he is a populist Kleptocratic leader. The man who uses 10s Bns in tax revenue to subsidise Banks, The Arms Industry, City, Big Oil and Hedge Funds said he was upset airlines deliberately put up holiday prices in the school holidays.

Um yeah!

Whether you’re Ron Paul, Rand Paul, Marx, Benn, Huhne, Cable or a fucking idiot but not as dumb as Call Me Dave what else would you expect? Continue reading »

Workers declining share of wealth and productivity gains has been hidden by rubbish inflation numbers and massive expansion of credit and housing bubbles for over 30 years. This has combined with greater financialisation and the voracious appetite of those who take no risks – known as bankers mostly but large corporates too. 2008 has actually accelerated the trends without altering one thing indeed greater and greater percentages of wealth are controlled by a small elite who make risk free gambles and get to load the debt on the populace through their politicians. Foppish clown David Cameron had his status as a complete nonentity confirmed by the NSA. They have not and will not spy on him.

Goodnight Vienna.
