I’ll also leave out they support the same policies as the Tories whatever the Tory fiction about massive cuts – after all SNP, Libs and Labour have the same spending plans too. We’ll leave out their obvious racism where they try to sound marginally slower swiveling of the eyes than the Tories. We’ll even credit them on Syria not bombing to help our friends al Queada and now enemies IS. Continue reading »

First up in why you should not vote for a party is The Greens.

Now I confess I am between the Greens and Lib Dems the Kippers, Labrats and Conmen not for me. However I believe in lacerating and being critical of even those one favours and whilst I believe in Man Made and Man Preventable Climate Change and am against Austerity as both moral and economic shittery the Greens are the only one of the 5 mains in England similarly minded.  Continue reading »

On the one hand we have vile murderers who die for a cause so base and ridiculous at the same time it defies sane analysis. On the other the lives of a bit more than a dozen westerners are placed above the continuing butchery the Islamic nuts perpetrate in the Middle East many in their own country among their neighbours.

UK/US seek to censor and create a surveillance state of good manners yet will not ring up the Saudis and tell them to stop distributing and  funding the ‘intellectual’ underpinning of this nihilistic Terrorism. Indeed the UK Govt is likely to ring up the sponsors of the Paris massacre and try to sell them arms. 2 years ago he, accepted only taking orders from his organ grinder in Washington, UK Govt begged Parliament to bomb Assad in support of his enemies which turned out to be Islamic State and al Queada – the US did claim to bomb a group that did not exist “The Khorasan Group” one assumes to obfuscate this fact. Indeed Israel to no odium bombed the Assad regime the other week to show that all this posturing and pretense that we think these groups the worst of the worst is poppycock.

One can argue the West stoked conflict in Syria and is prolonging it at the expense of 10,000s of lives with no improvement in liberty and freedom likely whichever side won – see Libya. What is the moral difference then between our leaders and the rancid scum who shoot cartoonists? That they do their killing in person not with indiscriminate drone attacks? No, as their attacks are not based on anything either and are purposefully done to no end bar fear and publicity. When you kill people over cartoons and their religion you’re no better than the Obama Administration killing someone because his meta data crops up in the wrong place.

I’d support action to tackle these terrorists wholeheartedly and am left to wonder why the UK/US seems intent on fighting people who want to cut fossil fuel usage instead.

Britain boasts it is the fastest growing economy in the developed world. Put aside sneering at what GDP is and means and ask why? It is because we are running massive fiscal deficits? Austerity has been for the poor and even that has proved self defeating as the housing bubble takes more benefit and the NHS has to cope with the increasingly poverty and population. A growing population that is causing a low wage explosion in low wage job numbers – even that is questionable as of course manipulation of Govt numbers is the new little Black dress covering just enough.

People say wages are not rising but the reason is not just lack of bargaining power. It is that wage comparisons do not compare oranges with oranges. Jobs also change. Wages are not rising because of underemployment. There are thousands more people working for the same per capita GDP as 6 years ago. Higher wage jobs have disappeared and been replaced by lower wage jobs. Vast numbers of self employed who knows what they earn or cost the state.

However all this floats: on a massive fiscal stimulous the biggest in the Western World: A massive Balance of Payments deficit: Large and rising public debt with static private debt: ZIRP: and a £375 Bn tranche of unwound QE. The economy is less balanced than ever. Quite how the UK goes forward when the financial capital collapses again, as it inevitably will, is interesting to consider. Can we afford to bail out the banks? If we let them bust what does that mean a quick contraction? Sadly my worry the time is passed for a controlled contraction of the financial parasite. In a country which even state media cares what UKIP’s leader thinks of ostentatious breastfeeding the comedown could be frightening.

The UK will hardly be getting much sympathy with its vile tabloids, warmongering, torture, rendition, arm sales, prodigious whining, polluting and hypercritical sanctimony if the shit hits the fan.

Labour MPs and others were claiming they were not making the same mistake at 2003 in supporting bombing designed to boost Islamic State’s standing, sorry.. stopping IS from ummh doing something being a threat to the region somehow bombing London or was it Paris or New York or whatever they’re evil, fuck it move on.

This was Fuck Yeah not Shock and Awe. This is Cameron showing despite being an Etonian and an Oxbridge 1st he can just say ‘what the fuck’. Strategy schmategy, tactics what the fuck are they, you wants goals you can’t handle goals. Think Bush and Blair were a couple of clowns we’re funnier and better dressed. Ed Miliband talked of helping a democracy after their unelected President, self appointed after a quiet coup, asked for help. Ed’s in with equals with Cameron and Obama.

Yet 2003 was planned. Sure Rumsfeld threw the post invasion plan in the bin. However unlike here where the people involved are doing it to placate the weapons industry and help the Democratic party in the mid terms. Yet there is no aim here other than the most nebulous. Bush and co for reasons that may seem laughable in reality wanted to build a stable Arab democracy and control a shit load of oil. The Obama Administration and Cameron Govt are doing this because? Find one regional expert who expects bombs to achieve Bo Diddley. They talk of a 3 year war but there is no plan. It’s a case of bomb and play it by ear no strategy no goal no endgame no thought.

Make no mistake if Bush was stupid Obama, Miliband and Cameron are dumber and clearly so. If he was nefarious then they are more nefarious and clearly so.

It’s really lucky that the UK Parliament has Rory Stewart as Head of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee to point out bombing Islamic State is a complete waste of time and resources. He can tell Cameron and Cameron can tell that nice chap Obama and job done. After all Cam’ and O’ laughing and joking and being good fellas to down a few with and can leave serious stuff like thinking to the likes of Stewart. Also Cammy and Oey could just ring our allies Qatar, Saudi and Turkey and tell them to stop fucking helping Islamic State if it actually mattered to them. It really is that simple.

Of course who can blame the Obama Administration the Democratic Party might lose Senate seats and State Houses if it challenged the moronic wisdom of the narrative it has created to drone people for no reason. They can hardly say look we’ve been lying for 6 years and actually the truth is we killed lots of people because of PR.

Then again O’ could just flippantly say “We murdered some Folks”.

I must admit sometimes an idea is so dumb that you initially dismiss it without thought. That idea is something like the UK should create another layer of Govt for England to match Ulster and Scotland. Not allowing Scots and Northern Irish Brits to vote on shit they have a local parliament for is sufficient for me. Nonetheless the stupid of England have discovered Nationalism so I retort…

Extension to democracy are nothing of the sort. Take the US where voting has merely extended the duopoly of the mainstream parties into all aspects of life from law to sport. Now it’s possible to claim that the UK Establishment is the same and unelected to boot. However even if that is the case why make it explicit? It’s not worth the expense and achieves at best mildly negative effects.

Extra layers of Govt merely create sinecures, diffuse responsibility, another cost layer for alternative political forces to fight the corporate triumvirate of Lib, Lab and Con. Or essentially outflanks anything but funded by rich loons right wing flag wearers. Indeed with the outsourcing of the NHS and Govt services we hardly need 600 MPs anymore to pretend they represent us as very few of them do.

In a Parliament of 600 who would you trust? Caroline Lucas, Rory Stewart maybe Zac Goldsmith for the sad reason he doesn’t need the cash? When Brown Droog and practitioner of Political Ultra Violence Tom Watson seems a good guy you should worry. Widening the pool of representatives of the neo Liberal parties will not produce more democracy just more troughs for more pigs.

The recent ranting response to 1 Independence poll and the emergence of Islamic State has shown how this political class with no background outside the Ivy League/Oxbridge and politics cocooned with Polls and hawkish state security types cannot work anything out for themselves.

The first sign of a Yes vote and lily-livered say anything buffoons promised Devo Max. Labour is prepared to kiss democracy goodbye to retain Scotland not because is best for Scots or UK but best for Labour. Devolution is utterly undemocratic as no solution to the West Lothian question has been found. To propose more is ridiculous. Logically with no independence it should be reined in.

The Islamic State response as another bunch of Saudi thugs tries to grab power is the Elephants running from the mouse. Bombing is mostly pointless and like drone strikes exist so a weak leader can claim he is doing something about a problem his administration created.

Obama will get a library and be on chat shows and continue to be patronised like a 5 year old who can recite a sonnet. 200,000 Syrians are not so lucky in a civil war stoked for nothing than some bullshit about who is and is not a friend of Saudi. Sadly we can mock the absurd weakness of our leaders but other countries pay rather more dearly when we support nutters like Islamic State for tactical reasons.

It surely enters realms of ridiculous that a region would become a country on a mere 50.00001% vote. That probably is the rounding error of people voting contrary to intention. It’s also given this will be the first time a vote would have yielded this result in 100s of years. Indeed the Yes campaign has and is on most polls behind. It’s ahead on one day and committed to a not yet negotiated cessation of the union?

Now I would vote yes but as implied the ridiculousness of a single plebiscite to decide everything before negotiations. This will give Salmond a pretty weak hand which perversely might be good for the new Scotland as his weak corporatist arse will be swiftly discredited. Seriously after his fawning over RBS, Trump and Ineos I would not send him to buy ice cream.

This is no way to create a country and anyone who claims a plebiscite is Democratic has no understanding of the word nor of individual rights. The point being on 1 vote in 1 day 2 nations future could turn.

I was asked about Cameron the other week and I responded he probably was not a bad person. Indeed some of his more blood thirsty colleagues like Miliband or Balls or Osborne or Obama probably in most other circumstances would not be drenched in masses of metaphorical blood. It’s just easier for some to hate ‘The Tories’ even as the poffer the same solutions as the Lab rats who condemn them in the hope no one will notice they’re One – U2’s standard should be Labour’s election song this time “We’re One But We’re Not The Same” albeit it won’t be easier on people without the Tories to blame.

However regardless of what these people say and what they say to themselves and excuses they make for themselves it really does not matter how nice or good they are. You do evil shit you’re an evil shit. As someone who reads the tweets of the World Economic Forum you realise that as they print money and reduce wages no one expresses the motivation to subjugate the Western Poor and monetize society so they can get richer. Maybe some of these clowns think they are doing some good. Some may even suffer in their gated houses hours of anxiety at the poor ranging from Pity to Fear of the poor.

It’s against this background that the GQ awards made the mass killer Tony Blair Philanthropist of the Year. Even if true again whilst he personally might support charities and be nice to puppies the debit side of his balance is ‘unpaybackable’. I thought maybe he could have offered to swap places with one of Islamic State’s hostages which would pay back maybe half a percent about a Billion times more than he has so far.

In the end at least with Hillary Clinton, Putin, Cheney, Merkel, Sauds, Netanyahu etc  there is less pretense or self deception these people are greedy authoritarian scum and barely deny it. They don’t need rhetoric or reason or expensive suits for what they do. That is why I dislike the former lot more.
